web design projects in depth:

High Hopes Rubber Stamps

As a professional home-based rubber stamp business, this client wanted a site that would appeal to the booming crafting industry. As such, I designed it so that it looked like a crafting table, complete with stamps (the buttons), crafting materials and coloured stamping projects. It has a homey, personal feel while still maintaining good navigation and layout principles.

I worked with a programmer to design the online catalogue and search funtions. The shopping cart also has both US and Canadian currency options. We created an administration page whereby the client can update the catalogue on her own.

From a happy High Hopes customer:

"I just felt compelled to contact you by email to say how much I have enjoyed your website - I immediately liked how bright, cheerful, and engaging it is! It's also straight-forward and easy to use - TOP NOTCH! I investigated every nook and cranny of every web page...and continued to be impressed. Not only by the design of the site and the WONDERFUL selection of stamp images, but by the very HEART and SOUL of the company founders, owners, and artists that is entwined with every word, graphic, and sentiment...

Thank you for making this little stamper feel welcome in your world of rubber-love! I look forward to visiting (ahem, ok...and BUYING) often...and my compliments to everyone involved in creating such a happy and enjoyable company and website!!"
